PLANETARY
OCEAN ALKALINITY ENHANCEMNET (OAE)
Planetary offers Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE), a process that removes carbon from the atmosphere and safely reduces local ocean acidity. They add a pure antacid to seawater to neutralize acidic CO2, transforming it into a stable salt that helps support marine life. Once transformed, the carbon is stored in the ocean for 100,000 years.

MINERALIZATION IN OMAN
44.01 is based in Oman, the home to the largest formation of peridotite anywhere in the world. Reactive rocks like peridotites naturally mineralize COâ‚‚ – locking it
away forever by turning it into rock. The 44.01 team set out to make mineralization at scale possible, and to help protect and repair our climate.

HEIRLOOM
INNOVATIVE DAC
Heirloom is based in California. Their unique DAC process involves putting crushed rock on trays and stacking them in vertical columns. These rocks absorb carbon and then when heated release the carbon that will then be injected underground or in concrete. The rock is then reused and the operation is powered with renewable energy.​
