PLANETARY OCEAN ALKALINITY ENHANCEMENT (OAE)

Planetary offers Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE), a process that removes carbon from the atmosphere and safely reduces local ocean acidity. They add a pure antacid to seawater to neutralize acidic CO2, transforming it into a stable salt that helps support marine life. Once transformed, the carbon is stored in the ocean for 100,000 years.

HEIRLOOM
DIRECT AIR CAPTURE (DAC)

Heirloom is based in California. Their unique DAC process involves putting crushed rock on trays and stacking them in vertical columns. These rocks absorb carbon and then when heated release the carbon that will then be injected underground or in concrete. The rock is then reused and the operation is powered with renewable energy.
